Youth Music Project
The
Libraries Connect Project received funding from the Humber Region
Youth Music Action Zones to work with young people in Hull; the brief
was
‘cultural diversity’. The Libraries
Connect Project engaged local artists/musicians to work with young
people from
culturally diverse backgrounds, many of whom are from refugee families.
The
project extended the Local Global Folktales theme. Music, sound making
and
storytelling workshops were held, and the recordings were edited and
produced
as a CD.
